Things to remember before heading to a dog park.

  • Bring water. While most have water fountains, don’t rely on them.
  • If your dog exhibits aggressive behavior, it’s probably not a good idea to take to one of these parks.
  • Be sure your dog is socialized with not just other dogs but with children too.
  • Rabies tag is always on to avoid a fine.
  • Taking young puppies who do not have all of their shots is a no-no. Young puppies and elderly dogs have the greatest chance of getting sick. Keep your new pup safe!
  • These parks are public, so remember, respect for others and their dogs is crucial.
  • All of these parks are enter at your own risk.
  • If the park has a designated area for large dogs, be sure to use that area and don’t enter the designated area for small dogs.
  • At these dog parks, they welcome everyone to enjoy the space without the need for social distancing.
  • One more thing that I do is GPS tracking for my dogs. (I know, I may be a bit much).
